Welcome Home
Our house was built in the 16th century, when Lech was not yet the centre of alpine skiing. At this time, not more than a handful of farmers lived in this small alpine village, and our house wasn’t a holiday home for tourists. It was a home; a cosy safe haven in the unique mountain world of the Alps. We have been able to preserve this spirit to this day.
Our house is located at the foot of Omeshorn, embedded in a snowy winter landscape during winter and in summer surrounded by beautifully flowering, lush, green meadows. Summer and winter walking paths are in the immediate vicinity of our house. The cross-country skiing trail that leads into the glorious Zugertal is also nearby, and the Madloch slope passes right by, meaning you can ski pretty much right up to our house.
The village centre is only 7 minutes’ walk away. During winter, you can take the free ski bus, which stops a few metres outside the door. As your hosts, it is our special priority to make your precious holiday time as pleasant as possible. Leave everyday life behind and find relaxation and peace here with us.
Welcome to Omesberg 1. Welcome home.
Yours, Family Martina and Stefan Defranzeschi
